What proof is there that coaching actually works?There is some very compelling proof that coaching works. Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) undertook a survey of people who had experienced coaching to ascertain how it went. This survey was done on behalf of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
In summary the findings of that survey were:-
- They enjoyed the experience so much they would undertake coaching again.
- They saw significant improvement in their fulfilment in life.
- They experienced significant improvement in their performance both in their business and personal lives.
- The vast majority of people and businesses made their investment back.
Some of the key statistics from this survey were: -
High Client Satisfaction Ratings99% - of clients were satisfied with the coaching experience
96% - of clients would repeat the process and hire a coach again in the future
Increased Fulfilment80% - saw an improvement in their Self-Confidence
73% - saw an improvement in their Relationships
67% - saw and improvement in their Work-Life Balance
63% - saw and improvement in their Health & Wellness
62% - saw an improvement in their Career Opportunities
Increased Productivity72% - experienced an improvement in their Communication and Interpersonal skills

47% - of clients had a Return on Investment (ROI) of at least 10 times their initial investment
